About Carly (she/her)

Carly strives to create a space where individuals feel understood, supported, and empowered working towards their goals. She tailors her approach to each individual’s needs and experiences, recognizing that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. She has a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent girls and women, recognizing that their experiences and presentations are often overlooked or misunderstood.

Carly is committed to providing neurodiversity-affirming and 2SLGBTQ+ affirming care. In addition to therapy, she offers executive functioning coaching, helping clients develop practical strategies for organization, planning, time management, and everyday life demands. She also provides parent coaching, partnering with caregivers to better understand their child's unique needs while building strategies that create meaningful change within the home.

Therapeutic Approach

As a neurodivergent practitioner herself, Carly takes a strengths-based, person-centred, and trauma-informed approach to therapy. She integrates evidence-based practices while remaining responsive to each client's individual needs and preferences.

Her work may incorporate:

  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)-informed skills

  • Strengths-based and solution-focused approaches

  • Executive functioning support and coaching

  • Parent coaching/caregiver support

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)-informed strategies (only if desired)

She emphasizes self-compassion over blame and adapts her approach as clients’ needs and preferences evolve.
